BYSO to Perform at 4th of July Fireworks
This summer, BYSO will celebrate our nation’s birthday in Bellevue Downtown Park with friends and neighbors at the Eastside’s largest 4th of July event! Enjoy free live music, children’s activities, food options/food trucks and family entertainment. The evening leads up to a spectacular fireworks show at 10:05 p.m. synchronized with a live performance by the BYSO! Click Here to learn more!
Spring Concert Tickets Now On Sale!
BYSO is presenting its Spring Concerts on May 21 & 22.
On May 21 at 2:00pm at the esteemed Benaroya Hall, our Youth Symphony, Philharmonia, Sinfonia, Premiere Orchestra, Flute Orchestra, Flute Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble will present a Masterworks Concert. This is a concert 4 years in the making!
Adults: $30.00
Youth (4 – 18): $20.00
Seniors (65+): $20.00

On May 22 at 2:00pm at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center Theatre, our Cadet and Debut String Orchestras and Youth Symphony will present our annual Bookend Concert. Come experience the breadth of programming BYSO has to offer.

Garden Party Is Now Live
BYSO’s Seventh Annual Garden Party beings today and will run through May 15! Make sure to visit our YouTube channel, social media pages, and website to catch all of the incredible performances. Spring Auditions Open
Online Auditions for our Spring Quarter are now open Feb 18–25. Spring auditions are specifically for musicians that did not audition in Fall or Winter. Visit the Audition Instructions Page to submit your audition.
UPDATE: Due to COVID safety concerns, BYSO is unable to guarantee placement into ensembles at Spring Auditions the year. All submitted auditions will be adjudicated and feedback will be available to all those who audition. If a student qualifies for placement at BYSO, they will be added to a waiting list and we will offer enrollment from this list as space allows. For more information please email info@byso.org.

Virtual Rehearsals 1/10/2022
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Washington State, along with multiple inquiries and absence reports from BYSO families with concern regarding the Omicron variant, we have made the decision to host virtual rehearsals on Monday, January 10th for all BYSO ensembles.
