Kristi Jo Lynn is a healthcare management consultant who holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and earned her BA at St. Olaf College. Her son plays the viola in BYSO. She began serving on the BYSO board in 2015.
Kathy Kearny, a Chartered Financial Analyst, is the mother of a BYSO alumna and a current BYSO trumpet player. Kathy holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master’s in Public Administration with a certificate in non-profit management from the University of Washington. She joined the BYSO board in 2016.
Asako Yoshimura has two children in BYSO, a violinist and a flutist. She has worked in product management and product marketing for high tech companies and is currently active in local PTA and school communities.
A BYSO parent, Reid Flickinger joined the board in June 2019.
A BYSO parent and bass musician for Eastside Symphony Orchestra, Jay is dedicated to supporting youth and local community orchestras. Jay contributes both his enthusiasm for the arts and his technical software engineer background to the board. Jay joined the board on Feb. 7, 2019.
Pascal Pinck is a customer operations specialist for enterprise software companies, BYSO parent, and a lifelong musician. He holds degrees in Art, History, and Business Administration. Pascal joined the board in June 2019.
Khek Teh is the CEO and co-founder of PlanQube, a project planning and management business. He mentors technology entrepreneurs through the Founder Institute, volunteers with the YMCA’s Adventure Guides program, and is the father of a BYSO violinist.
Jennifer Torr was educated at Barnard College and UC Berkeley and currently works on the Microsoft Bing team. She played violin in a state youth symphony as a student in Connecticut. Jennifer has been a board member since 2004 and is a dedicated supporter of the arts.
Bennet Wang has three children, one of whom is a cellist in the Youth Symphony. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and currently works as a pulmonary physician for Kaiser Permante in Bellevue. He has been a board member since 2007.
