For a full description of BYSO’s Absence Policy, including what is considered an excused absence, please see the BYSO Student Handbook. Note: Submitting an absence report and notifying the conductor does not guarantee that an absence will be considered excused. For an absence to be considered excused, an absence report must be submitted and the reason must fall under one of the categories listed in the BYSO Student Handbook.
