BYSO is funded through donations from community supporters, local organizations, and member families; concert ticket sales; government and corporate grants; and student tuition fees.
Tuition only covers 65% of BYSO’s costs. Donations and grants support the following vital programs:
- Tuition assistance for musicians with financial need
- Rental of rehearsal and performance space
- Salaries of professional teaching musicians
