There are BYSO rehearsals tonight, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular Monday evening rehearsals will resume on Monday, January 22. The Winter Quarter Retreats for Philharmonia and Youth Symphony are on Saturday, January 20. Check your ensemble page for specific information about your ensemble’s schedule.

Rehearsals for BYSO’s Winter Quarter begin on Monday, January 8th. Make sure to check your ensemble page for up to date rehearsal information. Music links were sent out via the newsletter on Thursday, 1/5! See you all on Monday!

Come be filled with the holiday spirit by 50 BYSO flutists as they perform holiday favorites this Sunday! BYSO’s annual Holiday Flute Tour returns and this year two performances will be open to the public. Join our incredible flutes at Crossroads Mall Center Stage at 3:30pm or at Bellevue Botanical Gardens at 6:00pm. We hope to see you there!

This past weekend’s tremendous performances at our Fall Concert Series marked the conclusion of BYSO’s 2023 Fall Quarter. Rehearsals will start back up again on January 8, 2024. Winter Quarter tuition payment emails will be sent out towards the end of November. We are already counting down the days until we get to make music with all of our students again!

Tickets are now on sale for BYSO’s Fall Concert Series! Our 9 ensembles will be featured across 4 concerts on November 18 & 19 at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center Theatre. For more information CLICK HERE!

We are thrilled that our first rehearsal night of our 2023/24 Season is just around the corner. Make sure to check your Ensemble Page to review your rehearsal location and start time!

Ensemble placements have been released. An email was sent to the primary email address for each student that auditioned from auditions@byso.org (this is usually a parent or guardian’s email address). The email sent contains the student’s audition result and, if placed and offered a spot in an ensemble, a individualized tuition payment link. If you did not receive this email, please check your junk email folder. If you still cannot find it, please email auditions@byso.org to request a resend of the placement email. Thank you to all of the students who expressed interest in joining BYSO this season. We were blown away by your auditions!
