Tonight marks the first-ever rehearsals for our brand new ensembles! Our Intermezzo String Orchestra and Overture Ensemble will officially join the BYSO line-up this evening.

The first rehearsals of BYSO’s 60th Anniversary Season begin tonight! We can’t wait to welcome and make music with students from 9 of our 11 ensembles. Make sure to check your ensemble page for rehearsal info and refer to last Thursday’s newsletter to access and print your music.

The first night of our 2024-25 Season auditions is tonight, 6/17. Haven’t signed up for your in-person audition yet? No need to worry! Our 59th Academic Season has concluded. A huge congratulations to our students and educators for their incredible work this year. We are looking forward to our Summer Camps, 4th of July Performance at Bellevue Downtown Park, and to auditions for our 2024-25 Season!

Our much-anticipated concert at Benaroya Hall is tomorrow. We can’t wait to see you there! Please allow extra time for travel, as 520 is closed all weekend and President Biden is in Seattle and we do not know how that will impact traffic.

Tickets are now on sale for our Spring Concert Series! This Spring, BYSO will be returning to famed Benaroya Hall (home of the Seattle Symphony) on May 11, and will be celebrating the range of students enrolled in our programming at our celebrated Bookend Concerts on May 19 at Meydenbauer Center Theatre.
