Volunteers Needed for 4th of July

We need some help this 4th of July at our booth for the Bellevue Family 4th celebration. This is especially a great opportunity for high school students. Shifts are just two hours and involve selling water and occasionally talking to interested families about BYSO. After your shift, you can see BYSO’s summer orchestra perform on the main stage. To sign up, visit the Volunteer Calendar. Thank you!

Sign Up for Summer Camp

BYSO’s summer camps are just around the corner! Sign up for an advanced, intermediate, or beginner-level camp session. A week in summer camp typically involves orchestral and small ensemble work, an elective choice class, and a performance at the end of the week – all while having fun. Camps are in July and will be located at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue. To learn more and sign up, visit our Summer Camps page. Email with any questions.

A BIG Thank You to our Volunteers

As BYSO’s regular season winds down, we would like to recognize our fabulous volunteers that made this year such a success. This 2018-19 season, a total of 515 volunteer positions were filled by 205 unique individuals. Between concerts, retreats, auditions, summer camps, rehearsals, and the Garden Party, these volunteers put in a grand total of 795 hours! A HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped this season. We truly could not have done it without you!

As we start planning for next year, we would like to invite all high school students to volunteer at BYSO’s auditions. Auditions will be held September 7, 8, and 9. We will have plenty of hours available, which students can use to fulfill their school requirements. Keep an eye out on our Volunteer Calendar for when positions become available.

Volunteer Celebration

We look forward to seeing all 2018-19 BYSO volunteers this week at our open house event! If you did not receive an email invitation, email or call us at 425-467-5604 for details.
