Last Day to Order Apparel
Today, Oct. 10, is the last day to order BYSO apparel for the season. Visit the BYSO Shop to order a sweatshirt, t-shirt, or beanie hat. No late orders will be accepted.
Premiere & Sinfonia Retreats
Retreats for Premiere and Sinfonia will be held this Saturday, Oct. 12 at Odle Middle School. Times vary according to ensemble: Sinfonia 9 am – 2 pm, Premiere 11 am – 4 pm. Plan to bring your music stand, music, instrument, and a pencil. BYSO will provide a mid-morning snack and afternoon lunch.
Parents – meet the conductor! Parents are invited for the first 30 minutes of their student’s retreat to ask questions and learn about their conductor’s requirements for the upcoming season.
We are still looking for willing parents or high school students to take some photos at the retreat. No fancy camera is necessary. Sign up on our Volunteer Calendar.
Volunteers Needed at Rehearsals
We are looking for helpers to set up and break down rehearsal spaces on Monday evenings. The time commitment is 45 minutes but the task is typically finished quicker. Sign up on our Volunteer Calendar. Thank you!
Microsoft & King County Employees
October is the Month of Giving! If you are a Microsoft or King County employee, this is a fantastic time to donate to an organization you feel passionate about.
For Microsoft employees, donate and choose Microsoft as your company match. Microsoft will match your gift.
For King County employees, visit the Employee Giving Program and enter BYSO’s organization code: 9535. You can donate through an automatic monthly payroll deduction, give a one-time gift, convert vacation hours to a cash donation, and/or be anonymous in your giving while still receiving tax deduction materials.
Thank you in advance for giving the gift of music to our youth. BYSO is a nonprofit organization that depends on the generosity of people like to you to support its mission. All donations are tax-deductible.
