Due to popular demand, both of our concerts on Saturday are SOLD OUT! We are thrilled to have such a great turnout in support of our young musicians! Please note that this means we are no longer to issue any complimentary tickets or honor use of tickets from one concert for another.

Our final rehearsals of Fall Quarter are tonight and tomorrow night, and we can’t wait to reunite with our young musicians after a week away. Time to put the finishing touches on our preparations for our Fall Concerts this weekend!

In observance of Veterans Day, there are no BYSO rehearsals this Monday (11/10) or Tuesday (11/11). Our final rehearsals of the quarters will be next Monday (11/17) and Tuesday (11/18).

Tickets are now on sale for our Spring Concert Series! This November, BYSO will be returning to the exquisite Bastyr University Chapel o on November 22 and famed Benaroya Hall (home of the Seattle Symphony) on November 23. Click here for more info and to Purchase Tickets!

The first rehearsals of BYSO’s 61st Season begin this week! We can’t wait to welcome and make music with students from Cadet, Debut, Premiere, Sinfonia, Philharmonia, Youth. Combined Flutes and Percussion on Monday 99/22) and Intermezzo and Overture on Tuesday (9/23). Make sure to check your ensemble page for rehearsal info and refer to last Thursday’s individual ensemble newsletters to access and print your music.

This Saturday at Overlake Christian Church from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, BYSO will host a student-designed season kick-off event. All BYSO students are invited to join us in an afternoon full of fun games, activities, and icebreakers. And, of course, pizza! More information was emailed out to families in the newsletter.

Parents and guardians of all 2025-26 students are highly encouraged to attend BYSO’s annual parents’ meeting. This meeting will include a presentation fro BYSO’s administrative team, and the chance to meet your student’s conductor for the year. The Parents’ Meeting will take place from 6pm to 8pm at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond. More detailed information was sent out to BYSO families in the newsletter. We hope to see you there!

Enrollment emails have been sent to all students who auditioned or registered for our upcoming 2025-26 Season. This email includes your assigned ensemble, event and rehearsal information, and a link to pay tuition or request financial aid. Check the primary email address of your household for this email (this is usually the email of a parent/guardian) Don’t see it? Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still can’t find it, reach out to admin@byso.org and the office can resend it to you.
