- Flute holiday tour music is available on the Fall 2025 Music page under Fall Combined Flutes. The password to this page was emailed to all enrolled BYSO students a few times via the newsletter. Email admin@byso.org if you need the password. For any questions about part assignments for the flute tour, email Dr. Merrie.
- All Students must sign and return a permission form by 11/3. These can be turned in at rehearsal on 11/3 or scanned and sent to admin@byso.org.

Student Checklist
- Bring a music stand, water bottle, and pencil
- Wear your BYSO sweatshirt and holiday accessories
- Print your sheet music prior to first rehearsal (using link at top of this page) and bring with you to rehearsal

- Can a student leave early/arrive late?
In short, no. Students who participate in the Holiday Tour must attend the entirety of the tour and play all performances. If there are extenuating circumstances, please email admin@byso.org. - Is this required?
The Flute Holiday Tour is required for all students enrolled in Flute Choir or Flute Orchestra during the Fall Quarter. Participation is optional for flutists in Philharmonia and Youth Symphony. - What will happen if there is inclement weather?
In the event of inclement weather, the Holiday Tour may be canceled or rescheduled. This will be communicated via email. - Can parents/families come to the flute tour?
Families are encouraged to attend performances at the Marketplace @ Factoria and the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Due to space limitations, parents cannot attend the performance at Evergreen Court Retirement Community. Families and parents should not attend sound checks, dinner, or ride the bus. - What do I wear?
Please wear your BYSO sweatshirt, school appropriate bottoms, and any other appropriate holiday attire you would like (i.e. Santa hats, scarves, etc.)
