Sinfonia provides more advanced students, generally those in the range of 12 to 18 years old, an opportunity to perform literature for full orchestra.

The typical student has had some previous private instruction and school ensemble experience.

Repertoire may include pieces such as Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, Glinka’s Russlan and Ludmilla Overture, Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture, and Schubert’s Symphony No. 5.
